GTP provides archived records of which Coaches, Trainers, Agents and Academies have worked with which Athletes, Minor Athletes and Guardians within the tennis community called the “The Coaches Collective.” Each Members profile will privately display archived total accrued Collective for each Coach, Trainer, Agent and Academy and collective owed by each Athlete, Minor Athlete or Guardian. Archived records of payments made, notification to entities of when payment for compensation is due, enforced accountability for breached agreements regardless of the non-compliance on behalf of all parties are just a fraction of what GTP offers.

Although we are hoping Coaches, Athletes, Guardians, Trainers, Academies, Agents and Minor Athletes will honor their agreements with one another, we understand that some situations arise where they do not. Amateur Status Contracts Explained:
Amateur Status Contracts created and executed for Junior Players under 18 or currently enrolled in NCAA athletics by and between a Certified Guardians and either a Certified Coach, Trainer or Academy. Amateur Contracts are signed and Deferred Compensation is paid by a Certified Guardian to a Certified Coach, Trainer, or Academy. This ensures NCAA eligibility compliance per NCAA manual 220.127.116.11.6. You must be registered as a Certified Guardian and or Certified Coach, Trainer or Academy with GTP’s Association to utilize these contracts and their privileges. A 4% interest rate per annum does apply and GTP will collect on 20% of principal.
Engagement Contracts Explained:
Engagement Contracts created and executed by Professional and Certified Athletes with Certified Coaches, Trainers and Academies ONLY. Deferred compensation through Engagement Contracts is secured by 15% of a Certified Athletes future Tournament Winnings ONLY for services provided by a Certified Coach, Trainer or Academy. No Coach, Trainer or Academy is entitled to more compensation than the services he or she provides. No Athlete is allowed to not compensate a Coach, Trainer or Academy for their agreed-to market value whether that be today or in the future. A 4% interest rate per annum does apply and a payment plan will commence two years post retirement of the Athlete (Each retirement is sport specific and stated in the sports Association Operating Agreement). GTP will collect on 20% of principal.
Engagement+ Contracts Explained:
Engagement + Contracts created for:
1) A Certified Athlete who has been in the top 150 ATP/WTA singles or top 50 ATP/WTA doubles within the last two years; or
2) For any Certified Athlete who has received permission to execute these Contracts via the Engagement+ Application.
No more negotiating nonsense bonuses and or exclusivity. Coaches, Trainers and Academies put “your money where your mouth is,” and be compensated for the services you provide based on your ability to bring out the best in that Athlete. Athlete, only compensate your Coach, Trainer or Academy for the services they have provided on 15% of future Tournament Winnings and on 10% of endorsement deals executed during the term of the Contract. A 4% per annum interest rate does apply to deferred compensation but upon retirement, should the Athletes have any outstanding Collective, that Collective is forgiven.
The Coaches Collective Explained:
Created by Global Tennis Professionals, the Coaches Collective serves as an accountability ledger for Coaches, Athletes, Guardians, Trainers, Academies, Agents and Minor Athletes for the entire tennis community. The Coaches Collective: Archives who has contracted with who, maintains detailed records of services that have been provided and keeps each member appraised of compensation that is owed and compensation that has been paid. Universally standard contracts protect everyone’s best interests with an unbiased third party (GTP) to hold all parties accountable. Any deferred compensation accrued is collected, held and disseminated in a pro-rata form to the appropriate Coach, Trainer or Academy of an Athletes Collective by the Association.
NOTE: An Athlete is ONLY required to compensate a Coach, Trainer or Academy for the Collective they have accumulated. A 4% interest rate per annum does apply to any deferred compensation remaining until paid in full unless Athlete retires with Engagement + Contracts at which point the Collective is forgiven
Minor Engagement Contracts Explained:
Minor Engagement Contracts created and executed by Certified Minor Athletes and their Guardians with either a Certified Coach, Trainer or Academy ONLY. Deferred compensation through Minor Engagement Contracts is secured by 15% of a Minor Certified Athletes future Tournament Winnings ONLY for services provided by a Certified Coach, Trainer or Academy. The Minor Athlete’s Guardian is responsible for ensuring the equivalent amount is reconciled. No Coach, Trainer or Academy is entitled to more compensation than the services he or she provides. No Minor Athlete’s Guardian is allowed to not compensate a Coach, Trainer or Academy for their agreed-to market value whether that be today or in the future. A 4% interest rate per annum does apply and a payment plan identical to an Amateur Contract will commence two years post retirement of the Minor Athlete by their Guardian.
Agent Initiated Contracts Explained:
Agent Initiated Contracts are any of the aforementioned Contracts that are initiated by an Agent between two Certified Member with the exception of Amateur Contracts. The Agent is ultimately responsible for negotiating the term of the Contract, service to be provided, upfront (if any) and deferred compensation for services received and provided and for alerting the Association as to any extensions or changes to the terms of the Contract.
